The Kericho County Assembly is dedicated to delivering top-notch services to all customers and stakeholders through this Charter. The Charter raises awareness of our role as an Assembly and outlines our values, key functions, and desired service standards.
Vision: To be a premier, professional, efficient, and effective County Assembly and play a leading role in promoting good governance and democracy.
Mission: To empower the Members of the County Assembly to carry out their constitutional responsibilities of representation, legislation, and oversight of the County Government with integrity and accountability, while preserving the autonomy of the County Assembly in its interactions with other government bodies.
Assembly Mandate: Represent the constituents at the ward level and special interest groups in the Assembly, exercise legislative authority through Bills passed and signed into law by the Governor, and conduct oversight of the County Government executive and organs, including appointments, plans, policies, budgets, and expenditures.
