KPA, which was established in January 1978 through an Act of Parliament, has the responsibility of managing and operating the Port of Mombasa as well as all the scheduled seaports along Kenya’s coastline. These seaports include Lamu, Malindi, Kilifi, Mtwapa, Kiunga, Shimoni, Funzi, and Vanga.
