Discover the School of Business and Education (SBE) at Kirinyaga University, where knowledge and skills meet. Established in 2012, SBE was the birthplace of the first group of undergraduate commerce students. Since then, it has expanded to offer a range of programs such as BSc Entrepreneurship, Bachelor of Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Business Management, Bachelor of Procurement and Supplies Management, as well as postgraduate-level programs like the Masters of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy Degree. SBE supports other academic departments in business and economics units and provides consultancy services to Kirinyaga county. It has a dynamic collaboration with the University of Newcastle Australia for exchange programs and research.

Our students receive a well-rounded education, with a 12-week industrial attachment for hands-on experience in their area of specialization. Our graduates are highly sought after and go on to work for reputable organizations or continue their studies locally and abroad. Our faculty is constantly engaged in research, identifying areas for our postgraduate students to explore and fulfilling the requirements for graduation. Intakes for all degree, diploma, and certificate programs are available in January, May, and September each year, while professional courses are taken quarterly.
