About Us
Kisii University, which is situated in Kisii, is a public institution that was established in 1965. Initially, it served as a primary teachers’ training college, utilizing a 61-acre parcel of land generously donated by the County Council of Gusii. Later on, in 1983, the college was elevated to a secondary teachers’ college, which enabled it to provide Diploma programs.
