MMUST, previously known as Western University College of Science and Technology, is a publicly-funded, not-for-profit university located in Kenya. The institution is dedicated to the memory of Masinde Muliro, a respected Kenyan politician who played a pivotal role in its establishment. With a student body of around 25,000, the university has three branches, namely the Main Campus in Kakamega Town, and two satellite campuses in Webuye and Bungoma.
