Job Summary:
Reporting to the Research Administrator, the Clinical Officer will be responsible for screening, enrolment, and clinical management of enrolled participants, as well as careful administration of CREDI and Baileys Scale assessment tools, documentation and data entry of findings.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
- Be registered and with a valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite.
- Be fluent in English and Kiswahili languages, both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Be willing to reside in/within the study sites.
- Certificate in “Good Clinical Practice” and/or “Human Subjects Protection”
Skills knowledge and Abilities.
- General knowledge on maternal health and child development
- Experience working in a research study
- Experience using laptops and tablets (handheld computers)
- Strong organization skills
