Job description
The successful candidate will work with the Study Trial Manager, Research Administrator, Quality Management Plan lead, a Data specialist and County Health Records Iinformation Officer to organise
Qualification Required:
- Bachalors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Statistics or any other related field
- At least two (2) years experience in a data management related role in a busy setting, preferably in the health research environment.
- Excellent working knowledge of statistical packages/programs (preferably STATA, Excel, R and Python) and statistical analyses.
- Experience with electronic data collection tools (CommCare, REDcap, ODK, etc.). Experience with REDCap is an added advantage. `
- Knowledge of database languages, such as SQLor Ms Acess preferable.
- A high level of competency in using Microsoft, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience working in a human research program/project and clinical trials will be an added advantage
- Experience in creating data visualization dashboards using RShiny, RMarkdown, Matplotlib
Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a focus on quality and innovation.
- Ability to prioritise work, exercise initiative and work with minimal direction.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
