Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development Education, Curriculum Development, Education Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Development Education, Education Management, Curriculum Development, Education Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution (preferred).
Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the ECDE sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the head of the sub-county ECDE sector.
Supervise ECDE teachers and manage day-to-day activities and staffing decisions at the sub-county level.
Ensure quality assurance in pre-primary education and establish standards.
Advise on staffing needs and empower staff to monitor curriculum implementation.
Maintain detailed education statistics, conduct curriculum research and implementation quality assurance activities.
Conduct baseline surveys to enhance planning and implementation of ECDE programs.
Supervise ECDE projects and programs at the sub-county level.
Ensure equitable distribution of teaching and learning materials at the sub-county level.
Collect, compile, and transmit quarterly ECDE progress reports to the County Headquarters.
