Inspector Building Services at Nyamira County Full Time

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Building Economics and Management/Building Construction/ Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in computer applications for preparation of Bills of Quantities and drawings (EXCEL, ARCHICAD, AUTOCAD).
• Must be a member of Architectural Association of Kenya or a relevant professional body.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct general inspections of building work at various stages, surveys of potentially dangerous buildings, and interpretation of Architectural and Engineering drawings.
• Carry out regular inspections of building work at various stages and surveys of potentially dangerous buildings.
• Check minor repairs and alterations of existing buildings.
• Assist in planning and supervision of building projects.
• Assist in preparation of Bills of Quantities for construction/building projects.
• Prepare sectional budget proposals.
