Legal Clerk at Nyamira County Full Time
Requirements for Appointment:
- Must be a citizen of Kenya;
- Diploma in Law from a recognized institution;
- At least 3 years of knowledge in paralegal work;
- Proficiency in basic computer applications;
- Possess a current Process Server’s Certificate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- File court documents and other legal documents;
- Serve and facilitate service of legal documents or any other documents;
- Schedule hearing dates in litigation matters;
- Draft legal documents under the supervision of the Legal Counsel;
- Provide clerical services as required by the Office of the County Attorney;
- Attend government registries, lodge documents and applications;
- Undertake routine errands to public registries, courts, and other relevant offices;
- Assist with managing the filing, archiving, and retrieval system at the legal registry;
- Manage the court/litigation diary;
- Attend court to obtain necessary documents or court proceedings.
