Legal Counsel I at Nyamira County Full Time

Requirements for Appointment:

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
• Hold a post graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law
• Have experience in legislative drafting from a reputable institution
• Possess legal research skills
• Proficiency in computer applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and facilitating legal research to inform advice provided by the legal department
• Coordinating and organizing appointments and meetings, including meeting rooms
• Assisting in implementing and realizing strategic plans and objectives in respect of the legal function
• Keeping and managing documentation on approved projects for the County Government to track and monitor progress and prepare reports
