Manager, Information Communication Technology- Kmc3 at Kenya Meat Commission Full Time

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance in implementing ICT policies and plans in operations and business processes.
• Develop and implement an ICT strategy and security policy.
• Oversee the security and integrity of ICT systems.
• Lead innovation and development of new ICT systems and solutions.
• Coordinate maintenance of both hardware and software for operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with ICT regulatory requirements and relevant national and international standards.
• Plan and budget for organization-wide ICT infrastructure and services.
• Formulate and implement a prudent ICT risk management strategy.
• Oversee the implementation of ISO Quality Management System in the department.
• Prepare board papers on ICT matters.
• Provide leadership and effective supervision to staff in the department.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology or related disciplines from a recognized university.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Communication Technology or related disciplines from a recognized university.
• Professional ICT qualification from a reputable professional body and a member in good standing of a relevant professional body.
• Certificate in Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
• Served in the grade of Assistant Manager or in a comparable and relevant position of which must have been at a senior management level.
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
• Demonstrated professional, managerial and administrative competence as reflected in work performance and results.
• Exhibited a thorough understanding of national goals, policies, objectives and ability to relate them to proper management of the ICT function.
