Senior Craftsman at National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Full Time

Person Specifications
For appointment at this position, a candidate must have: –

  • Minimum Two (2) years relevant work experience;
  • Master Craftsperson II Certificate/National Skills Certificate V/Diploma in any of the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical/electronics, computer science, information communication technology, automotive, building and construction, refrigeration and air conditioning, agri-business, P.V. solar installation, hair dressing and beauty therapy, textile, fashion & design, any other occupational field or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;

OR

  • Minimum of four (4) years in relevant work experience;
  • Craft Certificate/Final Proficiency Certificate/Master Craftsperson III
  • Certificate/National Skills Certificate (IV) in any of the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical/electronics, computer science, information communication technology, automotive, building and construction, refrigeration and air conditioning, agri-business, P.V. solar installation, hair dressing and beauty therapy, textile, fashion & design, any other occupational field or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Minimum KCSE Certificate or its equivalent;
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;and
  • Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution.
