Workshop Manager (Mechanical) at Kenya Forest Service (KFS) Full Time

Job Specifications

An officer at this level shall report to Head Fleet Management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and supervise parts ordering, vehicle inspection and delivery.
  2. Control operating costs
  3. Load the team in conducting repairs and management of workshop efficiency.
  4. Effective management of workshop resources.
  5. Provision of advisory services to the workshop team.
  6. Monitor staff performance, attendance and general resolution of problems.
  7. Staff training, technical advice and participate in the recruitment process of workshop employees.
  8. Ensure Environment, Health and Safety bust practices in the workshop
  9. Promote public values and principles
  10. Mentoring and coaching

Person Specifications

  1. Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/automotive engineering field or equivalent qualifications.
  2. Valid driver’s license

Method of Application

Attach current curriculum vitae (clearly indicating the mobile number, names and contact details of three referees), copies of relevant testimonials, academic and professional certificates and copy of national identity card.
